CND Shellac

The Original Power Polish!

CND shellac polish has to be one of my favourite beauty products and my clients love it too.

Shellac is applied just like a normal polish then set under a UV lamp for 2 minutes for fabulous colour and a high gloss shine that can last up to 14 days chip free! The Shellac polish is instantly dry so there is no need to worry about smudging or damaging the polish which is great! There is no damage to the natural nail as there is no drilling or nail surface filing required. Removal of shellac is safe and easy using a gentle remover and foil wraps.

CND Brisa lite smoothing gel
Brisa lite smoothing gel is used with Shellac polish. It is great for those clients with weaker or damaged nails who wish to extend the wear of their shellac polish. It is applied underneath Shellac polish as a strengthening foundation to perfect and smooth the surface of the natural nail.

Solar Oil

Simply amazing cuticle oil!

I use Solar oil with every nail treatment and use it on my own nails everyday.

I highly recommend Solar oil to all my clients to use at home to keep their Shellac polish and natural nails in great condition.

The sweet smelling solar oil nourishes nails with three key ingredients, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil and vitamin E, all of which provide nails and cuticles with added moisture.

Adding Solar oil to your moisturising routine will nourish your nails helping them to grow stronger and healthier. And remember, the more stronger and healthier your nails are the more fantastic your shellac will look and the longer it will last.

Direction for use
At least twice a day apply a small dab of solar oil to each nail, massage in to the nail, cuticle and surrounding skin and you will see the results instantly! I would especially recommend applying Solar oil just before going to bed to replace lost moisture.

Solar oil can be used on any type of nail included painted, acrylic, gel polish and on natural nails.

Aftercare Advice

• Please protect your nails by wearing rubber gloves whist cleaning, gardening or using any harsh chemicals. Also, try to be careful when doing any hobbies that can be tough on your hands.
• If on holiday please be careful when using suntan lotions or insect repellant especially those containing DEET as certain chemicals can cause your shellac polish to lift or fade. Please make sure you thoroughly rinse and dry your hands after to remove any chemicals or cream from the nails.
• Some of the more delicate colours can fade if exposed to chlorinated water followed by excessive sun exposure as chlorine is a bleach and the sun intensifies the bleaching action. Please make sure you rinse and dry your hands and nails after swimming to minimise colour fading. Applying Solar oil before and after swimming will help to protect the polish.
• Please make sure you apply Solar oil twice a day, especially at night. This will help to prolong the life of your shellac manicure by keeping your natural nails healthy, moisturised and flexible.

• If something you have done has caused a chip or the shellac polish to lift please do not pick or pull the polish as this can cause damage to your natural nail. Please contact me so I can access the damage and make an appointment for a repair if necessary.
• When you wish to have your shellac polish removed please do not be tempted to pick the polish off yourself as this can use damage to your natural nails please make an appointment so I can professionally and safely remove the polish with a gentle and nourishing remover.
